   Dear http://Going.com team,
   
   Thank you for running this contest and, in advance, for your consideration of the compelling points which follow.
   
   I believe I should be chosen for a trip to San Francisco because:
   
   1) I've had a hell of a year. I've started grad school while working full time and it's been really hard, and not that fun, all while
   
   2) living with a psychotic roommate who kicked my non-psycho roommate out of our apartment over an argument about putting a tuna fish can in a recycling bin, which then
   
   3) motivated me to find a new apartment on my own here in New York, which means
   
   4) I have no money for travel during the summer, at a time when I really especially could use a break. Like I really, really, really need one and am very burned out. But I won't take vacation days if I have to stay in NYC because it wouldn't be relaxing.
   
   In addition to these run-of-the mill but very real stresses, my ex boyfriend, whom I thought someday I would marry, and who I really really wanted to marry, HAS JUST COME OUT OF THE CLOSET, and it was preceded by basically no red flags. So I'm totally freaked out on top of being stressed out. And I'm usually relaxed and happy.
   
   OH, AND THIS IS NO SMALL POINT - I LOVE MUSIC! And San Francisco! And my West Coast friends who I haven't seen in over a year! I have a bunch of friends there whom I LOVE. And I may move to the West Coast next year so this would be a really good time for me to visit.
