It wouldn't be summer in Boston without a ride on the Rock and Blues Cruise with the Vineyard's own drum-heavy six-piece jam/ska/reggae/rock/world band Entrain.

Our unabashed fascination with Sgt. Pepper costumes aside, it's pretty gimmicky when a Beatles cover band look the part more than they sound the part. That's why we LOVE Beatlejuice, a tribute band that's playing all the Fab Four's hits, from the early days to the last days, while on board the Rock and Blues Cruise in Boston.

You're incapable of having fun if you don't throw down at this installment of the Rock and Blues Cruise. It's perfection: Boston's own funkalicious soul and disco party band, Booty Vortex, perform live with all net proceeds going to the Pan Mass Challenge and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Check 'em out this Friday for a little boozin' and cruisin' around Boston Harbor with local folk rocker Chad Perrone.
