The DEI committee at Going focuses on transparency, accountability, and encouraging growth. Going helps people travel and experience the world—and we want our team to reflect the diverse world we live in.
There’s no finish line when it comes to creating a thriving DEI-focused community inside and out. These surveys provide a stepping stone for our continued growth and document our progress along the way.
Our transparency isn’t only a commitment to our members but also our team. We work directly with leaders at Going to create a better space for hiring and making business decisions with DEI in mind.
As a company with under 100 employees, we aren’t required to track U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission data. We know this information is important, so we do it ourselves and publish it.
These are the results from a Self-Identification survey that Going employees completed in November 2023. Note: All responses are anonymous and employees had the option to select 'prefer not to say.'
At the time of this survey, no Going employees identify as transgender.
We’re a fully remote company with people across the US and a few countries. Folks don’t need to relocate to join our team.

Our 12 week paid parental leave policy is gender-neutral and inclusive of all parents, including those who adopt or use alternative methods. This benefit is available immediately to all full time employees from Day 1.

We talk the talk and walk the walk by providing time off specifically for physical and mental health. It can be used for therapy! We also partner with TalkSpace and Teladoc to provide therapy to all employees.
We recognize that we don’t observe every holiday, but employees are encouraged to take time off to celebrate theirs.
You should have time to give back to your community without taking a “PTO” day.
We give all candidates the space to be their authentic selves in whatever form that looks like. It’s up to us and our hiring managers to learn how to make inclusive decisions.
Over the last two years, we partnered with She Geeks Out, a company focused on DEI initiatives, to help us continue to grow. Having a third-party vendor facilitate these meetings provides a blank slate with no internal biases.
