There are few entry-level travel credit cards that offer Global Entry, yet this is the exception. This perk, coupled with its easy earning structure, makes it a great addition to a traveler’s wallet. | If you're a United loyalist, yet don't want to pay a hefty annual fee, this card is a great way to still get access to Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or even NEXUS (more on what that is below). | It’s rare to find a business card with such a low price tag offering a TSA PreCheck or Global Entry statement credit. Read our review of the Capital One Spark Miles for Business Card. |
The Bank of America® Premium Rewards® Credit Card also offers a statement credit for a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application.
Co-branded cards with Global Entry credit (fees vary)
If you are loyal to a specific airline or hotel chain, several co-branded cards offer a statement credit for Global Entry. Some of the time, this is reserved for the airline’s or hotel’s more premium offerings.

In addition to the statement credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, this card offers a decent annual companion certificate. | As the business counterpart to the Delta SkyMiles Platinum Card, it features a similar range of benefits. | This dressed up version of its counterparts has a higher annual fee, but not much more to show for it. There is one major difference: the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card grants you complimentary access to the Delta Sky Club.* | If you're looking for a Delta business credit card that offers statement credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, and offers you access to the Delta Sky Club,* this is it. |
*Effective 2/1/25, Reserve and Reserve Business Card Members will receive 15 Visits per year to the Delta Sky Club; to earn an unlimited number of Visits each year starting on 2/1/25, the total eligible purchases on the Card must equal $75,000 or more between 1/1/24 and 12/31/24, and each calendar year thereafter.
Delta isn't the only airline that offers statement credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. One Southwest Airlines business card features this perk, while several other United Airlines cards offer this benefit.

Read our review of the Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business Credit Card. | This middle-of-the-road United Card splits the difference between the premium and entry-level options. | In addition to this statement credit, the card also gives you a United Club membership. This grants you access to United Club lounges and participating Star Alliance lounges.* | This card also offers American Airlines Admirals Club lounge membership. |
*Note that United Club lounges are distinct from the United Polaris Lounges, which are exclusive to business class or eligible first class ticket holders.
Finally, several hotel credit cards offer statement credit for TSA PreCheck, Global Entry or NEXUS.

This card offers a free night when you redeem points for a consecutive four-night stay. This card also grants you Platinum Elite status with IHG. | In addition to the TSA PreCheck or Global Entry credit, this card also allows you to enroll in Priority Pass™ Select and take advantage of over 1,300 airport lounges worldwide. |
What is Global Entry?
Global Entry is a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) that allows you to speed through customs when you’re returning to the US. This perk is great because you get to skip the lines and expedite the reentry process, but you have to apply through US Customs and Border Protection.
The application process is pretty straightforward. You’ll apply online with the Department of Homeland Security, undergo a background check, and pay a non-refundable application fee of $100.
Global Entry vs. TSA PreCheck
Many cards offer you credit for an application to either Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.* Why pick Global Entry over TSA PreCheck, the Trusted Traveler Program that lets you zip through airport security quicker? Because Global Entry includes access to TSA PreCheck.
Even if you mainly take domestic flights and just fly internationally once a year, I still think it’s better to go with Global Entry. You get access to two programs for the price of one!
*The statement credit on many of these cards could also be for NEXUS, another TTP that expedites processing when entering the border between US and Canada.
Global Entry vs. CLEAR Plus
CLEAR Plus is a separate membership program that pairs great with Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. It allows you to use your biometric data to verify your identity instead of showing a government-issued photo ID. After doing so, you would then go through the TSA PreCheck line for expedited airport security screening.
An annual membership to CLEAR® Plus currently costs $199. Several cards offer $199 in statement credit per calendar year that reimburses for CLEAR® Plus:
- The Platinum Card from American Express
- The Business Platinum Card from American Express
- American Express Green Card
- Hilton Honors American Express® Aspire Card
In addition, several Delta co-branded American Express cards offer cardholders the ability to get an annual CLEAR® Plus membership at a discounted rate.
CLEAR Plus is currently only available at 55+ US airports.
Types of credit cards that offer Global Entry/TSA PreCheck statement credit
Just like how Regina George in Mean Girls quickly classified the cliques in the school lunchroom, you’ve got three basic food groups of cards that offer this credit.
The first is the most expected, the luxury or premium cards, which include a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck statement credit as a standard offering.
The second are co-branded airline credit cards (or hotel cards). It’s usually, but not exclusively, the co-branded cards with the higher annual fees that offer this perk.
Finally, there are some surprises in the bunch: A handful of cards with comparatively lower annual fees (under $100) include this statement credit.
You may also see this statement credit on business cards, but they’re harder to group: Some business cards sit at the lower-annual fee table, some with the luxury cards, and some with the co-branded cards.
There’s only one clique that you’ll almost never see offer a TSA PreCheck or Global Entry credit: No-annual-fee credit cards.
